Dear Alumni,

We are sad to share the news that Ted Mirczak, class of 1966 and Co-Founder of Renew Rensselaer, died on January 15, 2026 due to health complications. Ted had been one of the pillars of Renew Rensselaer's leadership from the start, and a continued voice of resolve. His perspectives aided in etching the definition of our platform to pivot RPI's administration into success, and we continue to dutifully uphold that vision. The family requests privacy at this time, and we will share additional information in regards to a celebration of life when it is known.
